Cash Payday Advances - Today’s Answer To A Cash Shortage

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Connie_Barker]Connie Barker Sometimes life gets in the way and when it does you can find yourself steeped in a cash shortage. If you do there is an answer, its in the form of cash payday advances. There was a time when cash payday advances were difficult to obtain. You had to go to a cash payday store and fill out a lot of paperwork and then you had to write a post dated check for your following payday so the store could cash it. These days the process is much easier. Now you can do it online. The requirements for a cash payday advance online are that you have an active checking or savings account and direct deposit. Direct deposit is a process that your employer follows in order to place your paychecks directly into your account. This is an easy way to make sure that your paychecks get into the bank. It is safer than having the checks mailed. Once your application has been approved the cash payday advance lender deposits the funds into your account and the money is available for you to use immediately. The lender will take the funds out of your account plus a small fee on your next payday. The fees are set up as a part of the repayment of the loan. This is a great way to get a loan because you dont have to worry about continuous interest fees. Another reason people enjoy using online cash payday advances is because it is private. No one knows you are getting a payday loan except you, your computer and the guy on the other end of the internet, so to speak. Many times people who need immediate cash assistance are embarrassed to go into an actual payday loan store, so being able to obtain a cash payday advance online saves them the feeling of embarrassment all the while allowing them to get the loan they require. Cash payday advance companies are now making it easier to apply for and get a cash payday advance online. The application is completed online and there is no more paperwork to fax or e-mail and most people will get the money deposited into their account within twenty-four hours of approval. Cash advances are a great way to get over that temporary rough spot once in a while. Are Titanium and Tungsten Wedding Rings for Life?

By Scott Murf When faced with the once-a-life-time decision of choosing a wedding band ring, everyone should do their own research in order to make sure they get the piece that can symbolize the eternality of marriage. For those who are seriously considering of buying the modern metals (titanium or tungsten) as wedding rings, here are some thoughts that are worth considering. Will they be scratched? Although titanium wedding bands are very strong and durable, the surface of the rings can actually be scratched. It takes another extremely hard object such as diamond to cut into the metal; however, it does not get damaged during normal daily use. For titanium rings with gold, silver or platinum inlay, the inlay part of the ring is as vulnerable as a ring that is made of the precious metal itself. In the case of minor a blemish, a titanium ring can be re-polished or refinished to restore the original appearance. On the other hand, tungsten rings are totally resistant to abrasions. Since tungsten carbide, the most common grade of tungsten alloy offered in the market, is extremely hard, it will NEVER get scratched. Will they be bent out of shape? Both titanium and tungsten have extremely high ductile strength. However, under extremely circumstances, titanium rings could bend out of round but a tungsten ring could not. If a high pressure is applied on a titanium ring, which could happen when being hit by a car door, the ring would bend when the force is strong enough. On the other hand, a tungsten ring stands a better chance of remaining intact, because tungsten in general is harder than titanium. However, once the force goes beyond the threshold, the tungsten ring will be fractured into several pieces instead of bend out of round. This characteristic, which we refer to as being brittle, is similar to that of diamonds whereas it is extremely hard but not ductile at all. Will the color turn? Neither of the metals will turn color. Titanium and tungsten alloy are biological inert and do not turn color with normal usage such as being exposed to the sun, in contact with sea water or cosmetic products. Can they be resized? The possibility of getting resized might be important since we gain or lose weight in the future. Due to the extraordinary high melting points of titanium and tungsten alloys, they cannot be cut and welded like traditional precious metals. Hence, resizing is more difficult, if not possible. Titanium wedding rings can be compressed or stretched up to one size, if there are no stones or inlay on the rings, with the help of special equipment. However, tungsten carbide wedding rings can not be resized at all. Therefore, one must measure the ring size carefully, possibility averaging the finger sizes at different times of the day, in order to avoid any sizing problem after the titanium or tungsten wedding band rings. Scott Murff got his MBA from MIT business school and currently is the marketing manager in Titanium Kay featuring itanium and tungsten jewelry. An especially popular use of aromatherapy is as a stress buster, with lavender as a well known oil that is able to induce relaxation as is chamomile. Peppermint is known for its decongestant qualities and tea tree has many healing qualities. There are many ways from which we can benefit the effects of aromatherapy oils. Scents can be circulated around the house by use of diffusers that slowly evaporate the liquid around the house. A popular one is through candles. Some Familiar Weight Loss Myths

By Carl DiNello When it comes to the commercialized areas of scientific myth, no other area can equal the amount of weight loss myths. Every dieter searches for the “holy grail” of diets; one that offers a safe, simple, no-willpower required solution. Who knows? Perhaps someday one may actually be discovered, but for now there is no magic solution. There are however, a few myths that need to be exposed. You may have heard about this one, I know it’s the one I would jump on right away if it were only real. Eating ice cream will actually cause you to lose weight. How? Well, the so-called theory to this mythical weight loss solution states that since ice cream is cold, and warming it up takes energy (measured in calories), your body is burning these warm-up calories while you are eating the ice cream. If only! While it is true that your body requires energy to warm up, and digest eaten ice cream, that’s because any action the body takes requires an expenditure of energy. This is no more than basic physics applied to physiology. But, as they say, the devil is in the details. The consumption of ice cream, which is generally high in both fat and sugar, takes in far more calories than our body would use to warm and digest it. Bottom line; easy on the ice cream. A variation of the ice cream diet would substitute ice water for the ice cream. What’s the thinking behind this substitution? Water has no calories, so you must be better off. Wrong! The energy expended to warm the water to body temperature is negligible in terms of weight loss. However, drinking water does have it’s advantages when trying to lose weight. You sometimes feel hungry when the body is slightly dehydrated. Drinking water, rather than reaching for something to eat will help you to feel less hungry. The next myth focusing on weight loss states that every added pound of muscle will cause the body to burn an extra 50 calories. Not only is this myth not true, it is also quite meaningless. Put on a pound of muscle and burn 50 calories once, or for how long? If we are just sitting around we will consume around 70 calories per hour. Some have trouble believing that; but the body is constantly consuming energy in order to maintain internal body temperature, repair cells, pump blood, etc. A pound of new muscle, at most, can only burn a dozen calories per hour. It’s not the muscle that is so advantageous to weight loss, it’s the exercise it took to build the muscle. The average person will burn somewhere around 350 calories for every hour of vigorous exercise such as, weight training, running, etc. Walking, while a good addition to a weight loss program, is more to tone not build muscle, and to increase cardio health. The weight loss benefit is still there with walking, it will just take a little longer than with a regular program of more vigorous exercise. Another advantage with vigorous exercise is that it will raise your bodies metabolic rate for an entire day. This will result in an additional 250 calories being burned. A brisk walk can have similar effects, but at a much lower level. Don’t want to go through a vigorous workout every day; than workout every other day while walking on the non-workout days. In a relatively short time, you will be able to see, and feel the benefits. The math is simple really, to have effective weight loss your body must burn more calories then it consumes. If not, the excess will end up stored in the fatty tissues. For long-term weight loss success, stick to the old-fashioned combination of a proper diet, along with regular exercise. That is no weight loss myth! Copyright 2007 Carl DiNello Carl DiNello is an Article Author whose articles are featured on websites covering the Internet’s most popular topics. Know Your Audience in Your Wedding Speech

By Alex Berez One of the most commonly overlooked aspects of wedding speech preparation is analyzing the audience. Professional speakers will tell you that they generally spend a good portion of their preparation time trying to understand who will be listening to them speak. The reason they do this is that having information about your audience is a valuable asset when you begin writing your speech. An audience analysis will tell you what to put in and what to leave out. Other factors related to the audience will give you an idea of how to effectively deliver your speech. In this chapter, we’ll explore why audience information is so important and how that information can help you create an excellent speech. Why Audience Information is Necessary for the Wedding Speech First, let me eliminate one misconception you might have about your audience. Some wedding speakers falsely believe that their main audience is just the bride and groom. That’s not the case. Your speech is actually being delivered to the entire wedding party and all of the wedding guests. You don’t want to forget those other people because their impression of your speech could also influence its reception by the bride and groom. For example, let’s say you chose to include an adult joke in the speech because you know the groom would find it funny. You’ve forgotten that his mother and grandmother are also in the audience and didn’t find it amusing at all, especially since many of their older friends were in attendance. Even though the groom may very well have loved your speech, he may not have liked the lecture he got from his mother because of it. You want to prevent problems that from arising. For that reason, you need to keep your speech audience-centered which means that as you are planning and preparing your speech, you are keeping the audience at the forefront of your mind. It means that when you make decisions related to your speech, you do so by thinking about how the audience would react, not just what you would prefer or what you think the newly married couple would prefer. Before you start throwing up your hands and saying the speech isn’t worth all this trouble, let me just remind you that this is nothing different than what you do in daily conversations already. When you talk to friends or co-workers, you do so by taking into consideration their beliefs and feelings. Unless you were extremely insensitive, you wouldn’t tell a friend who supports animal rights that you took a gun and killed a squirrel just for fun, for example. The reason is known as identification. Identification is a process in which speakers seek to create a bond with the audience by emphasizing common values, goals, and experiences. More simply put: when you are speaking to one or one hundred people you want to find some way of relating to them so that they’ll be more receptive to your speech. It also means that you’ll do your best not to say or do anything that would offend a large portion of your audience, unless your purpose is to shock them which is never a good idea in a wedding speech. As I explained already, you use identification every day as you communicate with the various people in your life. The only difference is that you normally aren’t even aware that you’re doing it. When you are planning the wedding speech, however, you have to be aware of it and focus on it. One last thing that you need to realize about audiences is that they are, by nature, egocentric. Egocentric simply means that they are focused on what concerns them most. Wedding Speeches bore them unless the content affects them directly. I’m telling you this not to scare you with the idea that all of your audience is going to be bored by your speech but to encourage you to include everyone in your speech in some way. Wedding guests are typically divided up into three main groups: family members, friends, and co-workers. If you include a mention of these groups in your speech, then you are more likely to keep their attention. You might say for example, Sherri and Kevin are blessed to be here in the presence of so many of their most treasured friends. I know I speak for them when I say we are thankful to have all of you here to help us celebrate this wonderful event. The audience’s egocentrism is also one reason why so many speakers resort to humor when it comes to wedding speeches. When you add jokes or tell funny stories about the bride and groom, the audience knows instinctively that you have put those elements into your speech for their benefit. You’re trying to entertain them and, if your humor is appropriate and effective, they will respond in a positive manner to your attempts. Keep in mind, however, that humor is not something everyone can do. “Voodoo or Voodon’t?” The Amazing Experiences of a Novice

By Marie Bradley What does Voodoo mean to you? Are you one of the many people who cringe and back away at the mere mention of the word? For years Hollywood has made a fortune on horror movies that consistently cast a dark light on Voodoo; portraying images of zombies, voodoo dolls and evil doers who excel at bending a persons will. In reality, Voodoo is a religion that has been practiced in Haiti for hundreds of years, before eventually making its way to the United States. New Orleans Voodoo works on the principals of harnessing the forces of nature to work for you. Wrapped within the pages of this book, is the amazing story of one girls incredible endeavors and heartwarming experiences with Voodoo. You are about to embark on a mystical and amazing journey. Its an intriguing and delightful story that’s bound to touch the heart of anyone who has ever been curious about Voodoo. Would you ever consider experimenting with Voodoo? Read on and decide for yourself. Excerpts from the book: Alexandra had known Eric for almost fifteen years and they had bonded as close friends during that time. Much to her surprise, one day, Eric said he would really like to be able to take her out for dinner or to the movies sometime. It came as quite a shock to her because they had been just friends for such a long time that she saw him more as a brother. She had never considered taking their relationship to the next level; still, she knew she really enjoyed his company and, after thinking it over, told him she would really like that. As time went on, Alexandra began to have very strong, loving feelings for Eric but, as is often the case, changing from friends to lovers definitely had its negative aspects. A new and different set of expectations put a strain on what was once a beautiful friendship. Alexandra wanted to be with Eric more than Eric was ready to commit to, at least to himself. As she surfed the web, she found articles on why men wont commit and how to mend an ailing relationship but she had already read of and tried these things on Eric time and time again, all to no avail. After about three weeks of searching, she randomly came upon a Voodoo website which quickly caught her interest. …..she had finished all three spell kits and was anxiously anticipating the many wonders of the New Eric. This was going to be so wonderful. She couldnt wait to see him, talk to him, hold him and savor the improved relationship she just knew they would now share ..It had been a few weeks since shed seen him or spoken to him but now that the spell kits were completed she was sure it wouldnt be very long until he fell lovingly into her arms. Suffice it to say that because of her deep, pure love for Eric and through her relentless faith, patience and determination Alexandra was led on a magical journey; a journey with results that will certainly inspire and warm even the most doubtful heart. Marie Bradley is a student of the human condition; ever curious, ever open to new spiritual beginnings and experiences. Her vivid imagination, relentless thirst for knowledge and uncanny ability to put her findings into words are what entice and captivate the reader from the very start. The pages of this book serve as a canvas on which Marie paints an incredibly intriguing mental picture. Her mastery of words succinctly takes the reader on an unbelievably exciting journey; a journey thats bound to spark curiosity and elicit a rollercoaster of emotions beyond compare. Voodoo or Voodon’t? is the second in a series of recent pursuits, with work progressing quickly on the follow-up. Voodoo or Voodon’t? is listed in the Library of Congress as a source of educational reference. http://www.outskirtspress.com/cgi/webpage.cgi?ISBN=1598007971 Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Marie_Bradley http://EzineArticles.com/?Voodoo-or-Voodont?-The-Amazing-Experiences-of-a-Novice&id=440112 viagra cheap generic viagra 3a caverta cialis cheap online viagra sale where can i get viagra online

How To Choose A Lawyer?

By Christoph Puetz Are you a business owner? Do you need to find a good lawyer? Finding good lawyers is critical to your situation and has significant impact on success or failure. What are situations when an entrepreneur should have a lawyer? Any situation that can have a legal impact to your business should be consulted with a lawyer. Here are some examples: - Choosing the right business structure - Obtaining financing - Signing complicated contracts - Lease negotiation - Employee / HR issues including hiring an employee - Protecting intellectual property - Acquisition of another company There are certainly more situations where an entrepreneur should consult with a lawyer, but this provides you with a good idea of when to look for a good lawyer. What needs to be looked at when hiring a lawyer? Hire a specialist and not a generalist. A “Jack of all trades, master of none” can provide you with average results, but depending on your situation the specialist will get you where you need to be. Understand the fee structures and how much the legal advice will cost you really. Try not to buy legal knowledge alone. A lawyer with the right connections and a network of contacts can eventually provide you with more than just legal knowledge. Networking is an important task for any entrepreneur to be successful. Fire a lawyer if he or she does not perform. Waiting too long can cost you more than just an ‘arm and a leg’. Be cost-effective. Some things you can do yourself instead of having your lawyer do it (and charge you for it). Make sure you like the lawyer. Nothing is worse than dealing with a person you hate - no matter how good he or she is. Choosing the right lawyer is a little bit like a lottery. But you have the chance to improve your chances by doing the appropriate research upfront. About the Author: Christoph Puetz is a well respected author and business owner. He has published books on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean and also runs a successful small business. He operates a Find Good Lawyers website as well as a small business blog. Lose Weight Naturally Without Tough Exercises: Slow Down Your Eating Speed

By Chris K. Kyalo Usually it takes a little time for the message from the stomach that it has had enough food to reach the brain. This is why it is a good idea to eat slowly. Or at least to wait for 15 minutes or so after you have finished eating, before taking the decision to eat more. This is the reason why many people who eat fast are overweight. They hardly give the stomach enough time to transmit the all-important message to the brain. Little wonder that our culture of fast foods has done so much damage to the health of millions. Admittedly if eating fast is a habit, stopping or changing it is extremely difficult. You can explore and try out a few ideas that will help you solve this problem. Before eating any meal, how about taking some water, as much as you can. The idea is to kill your appetite, which is one of the reason why some people eat so fast. Start eating after you have taken the water and eat as slowly as you can. Usually you will find it much easier to eat a little slower because your stomach will already have a full sensation from all the water that you have taken in. This technique can be a great help in making you lose weight. It is important that you ensure that the water you are taking is clean healthy bottled water. If you take water that is not clean, then you will keep your lives so busy “filtering” the water that it will have little time to fulfill it’s other important function in your digestion system that burns calories so that they are not stored as fat in your body. Marketing Your Art though Art Shows and Festivals

By Kelli Swan If you are a budding artist, one of the easiest ways to market your work is to sell it yourself. And one of the best ways to do this is to exhibit in Art Shows and Festivals. Following are some hints for getting started: Finding the Shows Many states and localities have Art Leagues and Associations which list local Art Shows. Make sure to start with these organizations. For nationwide listings, try either Sunshine Artist (artandcraftshows.net), artfairsource.com or festivalnet.com. Once you identify the shows that interest you, you can write or email the contact person of each show for an application. Filling out Applications The first thing to note on an application is the deadline. Many shows will not accept entries received after that date. The application will outline the show regulations and fees required. Art Shows vary extensively in rules and regs. Most of the better (i.e. potential for sales) shows limit artwork exhibited to that which is hand-made. Any reproductions, even 2-dimension prints, may be limited or not permitted at all. Make sure to read the application completely before applying to the show! A Note about Fees In most cases you will need to send two separate fees with the Art Show application. The first is known as a Jury Fee or Screening Fee. This fee is non-refundable, and must accompany the application. Jury Fees generally range from $5 to $30. The second fee is the Booth Fee. This is the fee you pay for space at the show. A standard booth space is 10 foot by 10 foot. Depending upon the size and quality of the event, the Booth Fee may range from $25 to $400 or more. Some shows require this check upfront with the application. Other shows request the Booth Fee upon your acceptance into the show. After the jury has reviewed your application, you will receive one of three replies: A Letter of Acceptance, A Letter of Rejection, or a Stand-by (Wait List) Notice. The first two replies are self-explanatory. The Wait List letter simply means that your work did not quite make the first cut, however you stand a chance of being called in to do the show should someone else cancel. It is your choice to remain on the Wait List or to withdraw from the show altogether. Slides In most cases, 35mm slides of your work will be required with the application. Some shows are starting to request electronic scans, however many still require the slides. Either way, quality is requirement number one. Whenever possible, you should spend the money to have your art professionally photographed. Remember that this is the only view the art show jury will see of your work. Two dimensional artwork should fill the slide area — no matting or framing should be visible. Three dimensional artwork should have a very simple background which compliments the art. Many shows, particularly outdoor shows, will require a Booth Slide or photo as well. In this case the art show is looking for a picture of your entire display. It goes without saying that this picture should look as professional as possible. To get a good shot of an outdoor display with canopy, try taking the photo on a slightly overcast day (to eliminate hard shadows) and leave the top of the canopy for nice lighting. Your display should be clean, simple and free of clutter. Booth/Display Canopy — If you are planning to do outdoor shows, you will need a canopy to protect you and your work from the elements. This is not the place to save money. Buy the best canopy you can afford. Talk to any artist who has ever lost $1,000’s of dollars of work to wind, rain, etc. and he/she will confirm this. Two of the better canopies are the TrimLine Canopy by the Flourish Company and the Light Dome Canopy. Canopies are offered with many options, including see-through material for skylights and doors, awnings, carrying cases, and more. Display Panels — For two dimensional art, you will want standing panels so that you can hang your framed pieces. You may also want a flip bin or two for matted, unframed prints. The panels should be fabric-covered, as plain grids tend to have an unprofessional look. Some of the best panels come from ProPanels.com. This company also makes pedestals for displaying three dimensional work. The Flourish Company makes panels which attach to their canopy. Weights — Weights are a necessity for canopies. You never know when the wind will kick up, and canopies can turn into flying parachutes. All four legs of the canopy should be weighted. Sand bags and cement blocks work, but a nicer look can be achieved using 3″-4″ pvc pipe. Just cut 2-3′ sections of pipe. Cap one end and fill with either cement or sand. Then cap the other end with a screw eye hook in the cap. This way you can secure the weight to both the top of the canopy rails (using a rope) and the bottom of the canopy legs (using utility ties.) Weather — Make sure to plan for the elements! This may mean rain gear, sunscreen, extra clothes and the like. Also, your art work should be transported/stored plastic bins as opposed to cardboard. Consider purchasing a heavy duty dolly. Not only will this make getting your display from the vehicle to the display area easier, the dolly can also serve as an above ground table for storing artwork behind your booth. Hotel arrangements If you are planning to exhibit out of town, make those hotel arrangements as soon as you are accepted into the show. While an art show alone usually does not fill all the local inns, you may find that other events are in town for the weekend to coincide with the art show. This may make finding last minute lodging difficult. Payments Consider in advance what forms of payment you will accept. While cash only is a nice arrangement for the artist, it generally results in lost sales. If you plan to accept checks, make sure to check identification when accepting the check. If possible, try to get a merchant account before the show so that you can accept major credit cards. This will definitely improve your chances of sales. Most banks offer merchant accounts, though these days you will probably find better terms and pricing online. Marketing Materials Even if people are interested in purchasing your work not all customers will make purchases at the show itself. It is important to let them know how to reach you later. At very least, have professional business cards ready. (Try vistaprint.com.) If possible, also take flyers, brochures, price lists and other materials which you can hand out. And dont forget sales slips/receipts. An Artist Statement (telling about you and your work) should be posted in your booth. People want to learn about you! Attitude and Presentation One the day of the show, make sure to SMILE! Purchasing artwork is a joyful occasion for most people. Few will transact with a grouch! It is also important to make a good impression on the show committee. One sure way to *not* get into future shows is to growl at a committee member. One last note, dress comfortably, but neatly. The paint-stained clothes should be left at home. You are in selling mode now and should dress accordingly.
